In September 2011, the story of Grace Abounding Full Gospel Mission began in a community deeply impacted by drug use and addiction. Our pastor held a church revival, but instead of choosing a traditional sanctuary, he went to his stomping grounds with three pop-up tents and a simple feed barrel serving as the pulpit.
His message of hope rang out loud and clear throughout what locals' call "Ape Yard" KY. The revival ended with 33 heartfelt testimonies of individuals finding freedom from drug addiction and the vision for Hagar's Well was born.
